One of the most frequently asked questions that I receive is "Can you really get results from bodyweight training?"

The answer is absolutely...

I have personally trained a few dozen clients using only bodyweight training (and they loved it.) It is fun, safe,
and effective.

Using strictly the bodyweight training that I designed, I saw an average of 16 lbs of fat loss within 8-10 weeks. That is of course combined with healthy eating.

The best part of a bodyweight workout is that you can do it anytime, anywhere. Be your own workout machine.

This video is a sample of my bodyweight workout that I have used on my clients with great success.

Here are the rules for my Advanced Bodyweight Workout.

Perform each exercise in order for 20 seconds. Do a total of 4 rounds for a total of 12 minutes. Try not to take any breaks in between sets.

  • I'm worried about ...

I'm worried about your protein intake, you should definitely be varying what you eat more as you're basically getting a great deal of protein, but not a lot of other essential nutrients that you get out of fruits and vegetables, don't worry about the chocolate. My basic advice-Stop trying to lose all of your fat, that's completely unhealthy for you, but try to keep it at a low level, between 8-18%, as you don't want too low of a fat content, I know people who have been perm. injured for that.

  • "WHite Dime" is an ...

"WHite Dime" is an idiot! he know's nothing about bodybuilding nutrition. First off...Bread/Whole Grains, Oatmeal and Rice Have Little To No Protein at All.. They Are Carb Sources Which should be Eaten During The Begining ofYour Day Which Will Give You Energy. Thats What Carbs Are. Protein Comes From Chicken, Lean Red Meats, Fish, Protein Shakes, Protein Bars, Milk, Eggs, Dairy. Just My Two Cents. And "White Dime" if your gonna give information. Do Research Before you Do So!Dont Give False BS!

  • you want slow ...

you want slow digesting proteins like oatmal, rice, and whole grain/wheat bread. commercial weight gainers are garbage mostly. just eat more food. if it grows in the ground or on a tree its probably good for you. avoid heavily processed foods and sugars.

  • Simply put: 7 reps, ...

    Simply put:
7 reps, with enough weight to only be able to do one more rep after that 7.
    3 Sets
    Rest 2-5 minutes in between.
Monday: Squat, Bench Press, Weighted Pull-Up
Wednesday: Clean, Military Press, Lat Pull-Down
Friday: Snatch, Weighted Back Extensions, Weighted Leg Lifts
After every workout session, have high glycemic index carbs (sugar/starch) and protein. Stick to this and I can guarantee you'll see results in 3 weeks

  • joetheazl, one of ...

joetheazl, one of the good things about Arnel's workouts is that you don't need a lot of equipment. I was amazed at how tough a stability ball made workouts. I am a gym member so I use the ones they have and cables instead of the bands. I saw the stability balls at Target for about ten bucks. I don't know what the bands run.

Well, I am skinny too, strange , but Ican eat how much I want, I wont get fatter.Anyways, eat good and workout hard, tehn the food will go to muscles not belly. Of course its much more hrder for us to gain muscles, it takes about 2ce as people with fat can, still it i worth it :).
