    if you look at rom 10:17 it says "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ" so agin i ask you if someone dies in some tribe and never hears the word are they saved? if they never hear the word they can never have faith in something they dont know of.

Merely saying I am a universalist and that I'm very wrong does not constitute a valid, convincing argument. Give me actual scripture passages, not chapter and verse references.

    if you really look at eph 1:3-14 and see that there is an elect group of people then you have to see that the is an unelect...otherwise it could have just said all and it does not say that....so you think saddam heusen is in heaven or hittler or a person that lived there life but never heard the gospel is saved..by no means the only way is through the word....hearing and believing....if they dont rom 1:18-32 shows what will happen

    Okay, but look at what you quoted..."who are BEING saved". People are not saved in an instant, but are saved over a lifetime. I'm sorry, but I do not see what the 1 Corinthians reference has to do with the 1 Timothy reference. There is no reference to a "general call". What 1 Tim. says is what it MEANS.

    No, bensteinke, you are Proof-Texting, which is the use of individual scripture texts to produce apparent support for a doctrinal position without adequate regard for the context in which it was written. Quickly, in regards to I Tim 4:10, the general call to salvation is for all people, but as the same author, Paul, states in I Corinthians 1:18, "The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."
